Product Marketing or Product Management?

If you come from a business background and you want to go into either product management or product marketing, which would be the better of the two routes? I think they're both equally awesome. There are pillars for product management, there are similar pillars for product marketing. The difference, in my opinion, is product marketing takes a demonstrable, tangible thing that might be in early beta or whatever, that is already fleshed out. And then they take it to the next step, which is finding customers to love it.
