The Struggles of a Manga Major
I started as an illustration major. So during those three years, it was just basically painting watercolor and all the stuff that I really never done before. Back then, I think they weren't so rigid in terms of what you could or could not take as long as you just met your basic requirements to fulfill a major. But quite honestly, I had realized that making a living and just comics in itself was probably going to be difficult at first.So I basically put comics a little bit on the backburn at that time and just really focused on learning how to paint a traditionally through oil paints.
