What's Going to Happen in Jerusalem?

There's two key Old Testament passages here that Jesus is alluding to interpret what's going to happen to him in Jerusalem. One is Isaiah the other is Daniel and of course Daniel comes at much later than Isaiah so Daniel the prophet is aware of Isaiah's prophecies. He interprets this relationship between the king and the people as a symbiotic relationship. The saints are going to share the same fate as the Messiah, he says.
