The Inequality of Running Water in the United States
If you're an indigenous citizen of the united states, you are 67 times more likely to be without running water than if you're white. The worst off in this regard are the indigenous americans, the original ones on the navajo nation. 30 % lack running water. Having modern water infra structure is not only crucial to the health of our kids and families, it's also important to economic opportunity, job creation and responding to the intensifying effects of climate change.
