Perching in Chickens Is a Natural Developmental Factor
Lorry took two fertilized eggs from his sister's farm and put them underneath his own hens, mary and josephine. When the eggs hatched, these adopted chickens flew up into a tree to go to sleep - just like their biological parents. So how on earth did they learn to do this? Sounds like we need to speak to a chicken behavior expert. Well, i think there's some, probably some really fascinating avian science in there. Larry, that sounds great. Thanks so much for sending in your question. I love it.
