Using a Synthetic Smell in Perfumes
Dawn shows us some of the perfumes she has worked on. She explains that we no longer use any animal ingredients in the perfume industry. We had to recreate the smell of musk, which smells nothing like it did then. The musk we have today smells like a cloud - if you could get such a thing. It's based on an ingredient that exists in nature but doesn't have so much to do with any more.
