The American Dream - Taxing the Rich

i think this issue of like tax the rich, in the u s context, it seems very unlikely that you can get a coalition around taxing the rich. But there's other things you could do, which is consistent with this whole notion of the american dream. i've heard the argument that paying protection money was part of the cost of doing business in afghanistan.
