Moslems, a Saracens, or Hegarines?

Buta, it seems like it comes from maybe deriding the arab mo s for claiming, according to this, a descent from sarah, rather than hagar. Later on, it's more common to call moslems mohammedans, you know, a naming them after the prophet mohammed,. A in the same way the christians are called, You know, after jesus christ.
