The University of Chicago publishes an edited version of the Wealth of Nations. It doesn't include Smith's discussion of banking regulation or his extensive discussion of the need to pay workers a decent wage. So it's a very central piece of the puzzle of American economics, American market fundamentalism that presents this very misrepresented version of Adam Smith.
