How George Wahington Acquires Land in the Ohio Wilderness

George washington was trying to acquire as much land as he possibly could in the oo, no, what was called the ohio wilderness. He acquired thousands of acres of land because of his service in the french and indian war. The british colonial government didn't have a lot of money either to pay these guys who had fought for several years in the woods. So they said, well, give you land instead. And so that george has essentially been stripped of all these lands he's been trying to speculate in.
