The Importance of Patience in the Workplace

As a data scientist, you get excited about a lot of things. But ultimately also the board or the marketing team has to report on just like things that you consider maybe vanity metrics. And I remember always this feeling like, why am I always getting pinged about board meeting data the night before the board meeting? Like why can't we plan ahead a little bit for this? Was it always there? Because in a lot of ways as an IC, I loved the opportunity to work with executives.
