The Nature of Lions

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego are indeed thrown into the fiery furnace just as the king had taunted them about. And it was heated so hot that the men who threw them in were singed and burned to death. The fire consumed the king's strongest soldiers as fire will do. Fire will always eat anything that fire has a chance to eat. But it didn't eat Shadrach,Meshach, andAbednego. That's certainly what we would call a special providence, wasn't it? God didn't call it special. It was his action, which he knew from before the foundation of the world. And he preserved them.
