Inductive Inferences Are Not Valid

There is no need to get alarmed about this somewhat trite fact. that inductive inferences are not valid which is the same as saying that inductive conclusions do not follow deductively from the inductive premises. Popa goes on to explain a whole bunch of things about why it is that some people would endorse that particular second kind of valid to a degree argument and after some exposition on this point he says quote thus the problem of induction is to be solved by constructing a generalized logic a logic of probability end quote.
