Christen soltis anderson: I think part of the back lash to the piece was that people read the headline, you know, younger americans less likely to make friends across the isle. And they get defensive about it, because they know that at a certain level, that's not good. But i have been surprised at how much of those conversations end up in conversation one, o, one. The point of my piece is that, as someone who is not a democrat, might also not be a racist. So just consider that possibility is all i'm asking yes.
