New Technique Allows Reading of Ancient Biblical Scroll Without Unrolling It

This chapter discusses the use of new technologies to peer inside an ancient scroll without unrolling it, allowing researchers to successfully read the text and identify it as the book of Leviticus, making it the earliest biblical book found inside an ark and the earliest surviving book outside of the Dead Sea Scrolls.
