This is the Nietzsche podcast. Continuing with Beyond Good and Evil, we're on section 17 and part 1 on the prejudices of philosophers. And in this whole passage, he said that philosophy is something akin to what is done by the mystics to mystical inspiration. He's compared it somewhat implicitly to art. So a lot of what he says here should follow rather neatly from that,. In some sense, we're not permitted to posit a thinker that does the thinking.
