I Was in a Devil-Free Room

My boyfriend remained on the video call during the entire conversation. The man left and I didn't hear from him for a while. He came down again 45 minutes later, cursing under his breath. My coworker was just as interested as I was to find out what was really going on. We got up to the room and looked around. There wasn't a devil in the walls. But there was a spot of paint with a color that was slightly different from the color of the rest of the room. It was probably where the maintenance staff painted over a stain or something.
