I think the corporate press has created a sense of perpetual present in people's consciousness and it parallels very much like soap operas where maybe I'm a little bit older than you, there was a show called Dynasty in the 80s. The media has these narratives that often are just tangentially related to reality, even if so they're not provide the context of two years ago this person had the opposite perspective or me as the media had the opposite perspectives. All of the same problems that exist there in one way or another exist in alternative media, sometimes in an even greater fashion because there's less oversight.
