Advice for Law Students
Colin: The best advice that I got when I was a junior associate is to treat the partners that you're working with and for as your clients. And it gave me a mindset of just client service all the time. It also gave me the skills and the practice to be able to like constantly try to hone those abilities a little bit. Colin: restructuring isn't ultimately where a student or a young lawyer might end up contributing their energies as a professional, but having some exposure to it because of how many different types of law and practice it involves is certainly a benefit.
