Music Torture in the Nineteenth Century
When the first gulf war began in 19 90, aracki prisoners of war were often subjected to long stretches of metal music. Speakers were often mounted on the top of humves that blared a c, d c and metallica as a way to intimidate and harass araki insurgents. This was the beginning of something known as no touch torture. The aim is to disorient and confuse the enemy. If you can bother the enemy through the night, it degrades their ability to fight. These people haven't heard heavy metal. They can't take it. That's when we come in and talk to them. To some moslems, popular music is considered sinful. Remember
