What Is Two Factor Authentication?

In a perfect world, you're correct, a bot is a user. So as a part of all this is using the same credentials as a real user, right? You're logging with a user name and password. But now we have these concepts like two factor authentication that should require something that exists outside of that bot user's environment. And so how do you afford for that? In aperfect world, it would be a service account, not a user account.service accounts are governed a little differently allot of time. Service accounts have much more stringent rules, but also allow for things like password resets or two factor authentications.
