I was reading somewhere that Google is going to start downgrading the rank of sites that are not SSL. So there's one more reason to run it over SSL, right? Yeah. And I mean, today's world SSL connections, they used to be way slower than non encrypted connections, but they're just a little bit slower now. so I think that's what Google is trying to do. It's basically saying, hey, we know your site's a littlebit slower, but we're going to give you the benefit of the doubt because it is encrypted That's my guess about what Google is doing there.
