What Are Your Values When You Move Abroad?
I think moving to another country does highlight your values. I didn't recognise how differently other countries value arts and culture. Here in Spain, just the Spanish believe that arts and culture are not highbrow. It's for everyone to experience. Living abroad has just opened up my mind so much. For me, still have friends who are like, oh, it's going to be a nice pile of wine. That changes how you view things. You're talking about longevity here. We are living in the Mediterranean.
