Durex's Piesta Resistance

Around half the world's Durex condoms are made at this factory. It was built in the early 90s, once condom manufacturing left UK for good. A billion a year, shipped all over the globe, the other half are made in China. In one ten-and-a-half-hour shift, one worker will test more than 22,000 condoms. The testing regime is elaborate to ensure they meet safety standards. One pinprick and you've got an unwanted pregnancy - or failure of brand.
