What Was the Turning Point in Your Life?

When did you stop being a background boy? When I met Anna, who then became my wife. We were running this youth event out of our church in Littlehampton for five and a half years. It was really ahead of its time because it wasn't in a church building. And we used to do open-air ones on Littlehampton, seafront. One year, like 10,000 people showed up. People just came from every, it was fantastic. This was all absolutely faith-based. So it was a very natural thing for us to make music right about what we believed in. Our audience grew out of those songs of identifying with that music.
