Georgia and Ira - The New York Mets' First Season
The band took its name from a story about the New York Mets' adorably abysmal first season. Georgia and Ira recorded a handful of albums with an armful of bassists, which could include sounds ranging from synapse-flaying noise on portions of President Yolatango to church group Acoustic Singalongs as on the 100% Adorable Mostly Covers album Fakebook. Upside Down is their most accessible album while still being one of their more interesting ones.
