Is There a Warm Auto Antibody?

Warm auto antibodies are a type of antibody that has a maximal reactivity at 37 degrees or body temperature. They can be seen with or without autoimmune hemolytic anemia, which is an autoimmune process where the red cells are being destroyed by the patient's own immune system. These antibodies get in our way of our serological workup. And so we'll talk about it throughout this podcast. But the bottom line is they're not always equal.
