that's why we're really looking for people who are decisive. It's the same route rite, people who are good at making good decisions quickly under those circumstances as they're running through that mine field. And of course, the mine field is even more difficult when you're blit scaling, which means that you're priotizing speed above everything else. You're not just running through mine field, you're on a dead sprint. So why is decision making so hard for blit scalers? And how should they think about the right way of making decisions while blit scaling? This

is one of the things that i really learned from papa and my experience at papa, because, you know, i thought i was really good at decision making, partially being smart. Think of it as sport, even ori started on tuminer ship, then got a hole bunch experience with social net, and made some decisions too slowly, made some decisions badly, you know. And what i always do is i reform my decision making framework. I didn't just go, oh, i trusted so and so, and that was wrong. It's like to know, take responsibility for every decision you made. What were the of things that you should do differently as playing the game, forwart, is a sport. It's like, you know, how you actually, in fact, act, how you operate? What do you do? What are the things that make this different? And in blood scaling, it's really hard because not only, of course, are you intensely compressed in speed, usually thereare, in a competitive framework, cause part of what's gotten you to blit scaling, i because there is either extant, or could be extant, competition in a really serious way. You've got this high stakes part of it, cause it's kind of like, well, this is my economic and emotional, well being in this it's done for the whole group. So like a lot of people all in the same boat together. So like, row left, row right, you knowike, you know, that kind of thing. That's part of it. You don't really have a lot of chance to communicate. Don't have the time to all get on the same page and communicate. So you have to make those decisions and operate in that framework where, you know, like, ultimately, that's part of the reason why these decision making framwarks, like dacy and racy and other things, are so important and so often u used by ach pone companies and blit scale and companies, because it's like, i'll get two and sos making the decision. Let's go, right? That's how the decision make. But also, how does that work out? And then, of course, you know, whi you would hope for all therelevant data to make the decision. Frequently there are obvious, massive blind spots in your data for decisioning. Even if you do have some you're fortunat enough to have invested in or tripped across or made some data in order to make it happen. And that's what makes decision making so particularly ard in blit scaling contects for founders, executives, managers, contributors and so on.
