Is There a Future for Car Play?

i just remember when t three g first appeared in main stream in the u k. The idea was that everyone would soon be video calling to one another on their phones olta time, over three g. And it has never, never happened. B m w have tried subscription services and, in some areas, annual fees to do capabilities in your car. They actually even tried to make an annual fee for doing apple car play. As far as i'm concerned, i want all that functionality presented through car play, or andoid, android auto.
