The Origins of Sex Dolls
There's no real evidence that sailors had sex dolls at all. So this advertising copy was what was cited as proof of the sex dolls, but it's actually just like hyping up a weird bean thing that was not a sex doll. There's really no way to know the first time somebody formed something that looked like a woman and had sex with it. The invention of rubber and vulcanized rubber specifically is what is necessary for these sex dolls to be created.
