The Importance of Pronunciation in English
When were the audio files of people demonstrating the pronunciation introduced to the online edition? Murray would have been absolutely gobsmacked to use a nice British expression. We started thinking about it early on, put it in the too hard pile for a little while because you've got so much variation depending on the other languages spoken by the Indian English speaker. Yes. The spelling is only a symbol, but the living word is the pronunciation. It's the latest fact.
