Is a Dollar Off Your Price Target?

When you buy stocks, you could either do market order or limit. Early on during my investing career, I would be like, steady limit to buy cents or ten cents under the ask price. If Microsoft is trading at $600 at P-ratia 70, that's probably not something you want to buy right now. So, there's this price target, but there's also, on the other hand, it's also about this overall market, the company and future profitability.
