The Philadelphia Flyers Don't Do Good Business
The Flyers traded Brendan Lemieux and a fifth for Zach McEwen. They also got a six round pick for Patrick Brown, Mayor of Brampton. That's all they did. The criticism is not that Chuck Fletcher didn't do enough; it's that he did nothing. If JVR is going for a third, if he's going for a sixth, you get more than just keeping him on your roster. I don't have an evaluation of Chuck Fletcher as a general manager. He was a puppet of the Minnesota wild ownership,. And you know, we all got an answer to our corporate masters if we have a job... But this dude doesn't do anything.
