i think the pain of being that type of person, when you see the kind of feelings that he has about the earth. He sees too easily wounded when he sees pain outside of himself. So it's a little paradoxical that he then undergoes this training in the ampathy machine to calm him and stabilize him. And i think that is not just what sensitive children need, but i think that change in consciousness from meaning being primarily a personal thing to meaning being a shared, communal process thats out there beyond us.
