There's most certainly life out there. The question is, will we know that we're seeing life when we make that measurement? There are just so, so many exo planets, and we just don't know what's possible on these worlds. And the web is giving us this opportunity to really deeply investigate them for the first time. It's very plicated universe. I want to know where we fet into it all. Are we alone?
After decades of planning, NASA is finally (finally!) set to launch the successor to the Hubble. The new Webb telescope will be a paradigm shift for astronomy, exploring places in the cosmos that have been completely invisible to us until now. But first, it has to safely reach a point nearly a million miles away from the Earth.
