The Anti-Authority of Science Fiction
Science fiction as a genre is in many ways kind of an anti-genre. There's limitless possibilities with what you can do in science fiction. And I would argue that even left-wing writers within science fiction were still at some level anti-authoritarian because they were writing in the genre, which was so mainstream.
