Protecting Your iCloud Photos From an Apple ID Takeover
I made an extra fake family member with a separate Apple ID. This way I can always use this Apple ID to retrieve all the important shared pictures. iCloud shared library gives more than one person access to presumably your shared pool of photos that you care about. If someone steals your iPhone, takes over your Apple ID and changes the password and totally locks you out, you never get that Apple ID back.
