Leadership is about carisma and vision, motivating people around that. But it's about you. It's about the individual. And i think it sort of breeds the great person notion people leading organizations. I would much rather be talking to the 27 year old who just graduated from business school but was in an entry level position in the organization than teaching the sea sweep or sea sweet minus one. That led me and a colleague, kellogg slocum, just to think there's something wrong with this thing we're teaching our students every day.
