The Memories of a Weekend Warrior

I think if Red Bull had crashed into us early on in the season, we would have been dead in the water. Our normal refueler from previous years had left the team as part of the redundancies. We wanted to keep him, but he decided he was going to be a plumber. He came along as a weekend warrior flying Saturday night to do the fuel for a day rate. And then straight after the race, go home and do his plumbing job for a fortnight, then come back again. That's amazing. Have you ever experienced anything like that before in your career? Not at this level of motor court. It's quite a good value because it knocked about eight seconds off
