Around 600 thousand years ago, there was a common ancestor for us and the neandertols and denisevens. This gave rise to these different lineages that lived in europe and asia. In africa, we then had the evolution of homosapians,. probably not just in one area, but sort of mixing and matching across africa. And then about 60 thousands years ago, a major dispersal from africa to give rise to the people we find to day outside of africa.
