The Confessions of Saint Augustine
The confessions of Saint Augustine are the story of the conversion of a pagan rhetorician into being a Christian priest and preacher. He dedicates this work to his mother Saint Monica right who is a famous mother because she prayed and prayed and prayed for Augustine's conversion. As we go through the confessions I'm not going to be taking you in a strict chronology in the interest of time but really rather by themes and broad strokes.
