The Great Clock

When i went to monticello, i saw the great clock. On the exterior of montecello, you can see a single hand that just does the hours. But on the inside, so thit is all one clock. Exterior face, anda interior face, it had a minute and a second hand. And then the coolest thing, if you look to the left and to the right, on the walls, the day of the weeks were listed. The clock was driven by gravity. I heard that it also triggered a gong that could be heard multiple miles away,. but i don't know how that would i don't remember. Anles tey, trevor
