Plutonomy is a term that refers to the science of the production of distribution of wealth. In modern time, city group analysts beginning with AJ Kapoor in 2005 have used the term describing economy in which rich are driving forces and main beneficiaries of economic growth. Others, including Noam Chomsky has used the term to refer to nation or economy in which wealth is concentrated in the hands of a few.
