Fritz Langfield Review

Children and the film, children aren't afraid of Hans Becker. They happily sing about him in the opening sequence of the film. It's adults who are frightened or want to rise up and get rid of him. The character of Shrenker is so interesting in relation to this because his hands are always covered in leather gloves. So he doesn't leave any trace of himself, any fingerprints behind. He says when he's on trial, I can't help myself, I can't help myself.
