CPI Inflation Growth in November
CPI inflation growth is measured by the CPI was softer than consensus was expecting. Overall, CPI was up a tenth of a percentage point month on month. Year over year on the total CPI, we're up 7.1%. And that's now come down to the slowest pace since December of 2021. Core inflation ex food and energy was up 0.2 month over month. It's been since August of last year of 21. And year over year core is up 6%. Just some of the highlights that I see in it. Energy is now clearly a drag on inflation.
