The Role of Telegrams in War
When the war in Ukraine first started, there was some really gripping imagery. I do want students to sort of appreciate this, this sort of baseness of what war is. But yeah, it's not the focus. The Nikki and Willie telegraphs are something that I'm much more interested in. They're a series of telegraphs from Kaiser Wilhelm to his cousin, Tsar Nicholas on the eve of war.
