Positive Psychology - The Science of Happiness

Positive psychology essentially is the science of happiness. The essence is captured by the questions that therapists or researchers, or anyone whos er craning an intervention asks. A positive psychologist would begin by asking, what's what's working in your life? What's going well? A couples counsillor would ask, what's worked in your relationship? You wouldn't be here if nothing was working. Similarly, an organizational consultant would begin by asked, what are your strength as a manager and organization? Start with that and then build on that. It's not about ignoring what is not working. It's simply about starting with and focusing on what is working.
