I would argue that it isn't he's got tunnel vision in that interpretation. Like he's not willing to accept that there was a pushback in all f these pre modern societies. I mean, even something like a euripides and his satire,. If if i want to pick on the ancient greeks, like s thats, that satire was pushe back isn't an active act over  i don't know.
