Vivint is a security company that seems to be one of the least secure companies ever. It's their job to protect people and they do the exact opposite. The scam basically works like this: A Vivint salesperson would come to your home, bright-eye and bushy-tailed, ready to sell you a top-of-the-line security system. But what if you don't have the credit to pay for the system? Well, don't you worry, cutie-patootie. Their names could be added to your account as unwilling and unnotified co-signers.
