Why Protestants Reject Dutero Canonical Books

The dutero canonical books, when you read them, talking about Tobit, Maccabees, Bell and the Dragon. They all are set during that second temple period. And they really just fill in historical gaps. So then people say, well, why did so many Protestants in Europe reject those books? There's a lot of different reasons as to why people think that Luther and other reformers after him saw them as not canon.
